PABLO ALBORAN and his “Prometo” tour
Municipal Cortijo de Torres Auditorium, Málaga
The Spanish singer-songwriter Pablo Alborán with a unique voice and style, made his debut in 2011 with his eponymous album, whose single “Solamente tú” reached seventh place in the sales charts in Spain. His second album, “En acústico”, was the best seller in Spain and reached the Gold Record certification in Portugal, highlighting the single “Perdóname”.
However, his greatest success is the “Terral” album, which currently has eight Platinum Records. This album was promoted in his Tour Terral, during which he toured 20 countries in which he performed 80 concerts and in which he managed to fill the Plaza de Las Ventas three times in a row. The last of these three concerts at Las Ventas was recorded to release the album “Tour Terral – Tres noches en Las Ventas”.
He has also collaborated with other artists such as Miguel Bosé (Puede que) and María Dolores Pradera (No sé por qué te quiero).
Pablo Alborán also won a Goya Award in 2016 for his song “Palmeras en la nieve”, the soundtrack to the film of the same name, with composer Lucas Vidal.
Prometo (I Promise) is the fourth studio album by Spanish singer-songwriter Pablo Alborán. The album was announced on October 9 2017 and was released on 17 November 17 2017 through Warner Music.
In an interview with Billboard, Alborán explained the title as “…a promise to myself, to be honest to my emotions – and at the same time, a promise to my fans. I promise to make music until I die. On the other hand, I think that when you promise, you build up courage and maturity. We feel secure in fulfilling that promise.”
Doors open at 8pm.
