The time of year has come again for the BRIT Awards, honouring the best of British and International Music for 2018.
Whether its Jarvis Cocker crashing the stage during Michael Jackson’s performance, Liam Gallagher’s many antics, or just a cheeky flash by Geri Halliwell, the BRIT Awards are always sure to give us musical memories.
Comedian Jack Whitehall will be hosting this year, crowning the top musicians in the categories of ‘British Album of the Year’, ‘Best British Male/Female Solo Artist’, ‘Best British Group’, ‘Best British Breakthrough’, ‘British Single of the Year’, ‘Best International Group/Male/Female Solo Artist’, ‘British Artist Video of the Year’, as well as the ‘Critics’ Choice Award’.
Justin Timberlake, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Dua Lipa are all confirmed to perform this year, with Justin Timberlake returning as a BRIT Awards headliner 15 years after his and Kylie Minogue’s infamous ‘bum-groping’ performance.
Unfortunately, voting for ‘British Artist Video of the Year’ and ‘British Breakthrough Act’ online has been closed, but stop by your favourite Spectrum FM Facebook page to see the nominees and let us know who you are hoping to win this year’s awards.
ITV will stream the event live, from 18:00 GMT on February 21.
