Born in the UK, Tim´s been in the radio industry for over 20 years and worked as a manager, journalist, presenter and producer. He’s worked all over the UK with the Wireless Group, UKRD, GWR, Bauer and UBC presenting and producing shows at all times of the day including Breakfast and Drive. 

He has a BA degree in Communications, an MA degree in Multimedia Journalism and a LAMDA Diploma for drama.   In the early days Tim appeared in several stage plays including Oliver and Evita, as well as working in stage management, lighting and sound. As a teenager he appeared on Channel 4´s The Big Breakfast and was interviewed on-air by various radio stations before deciding to get involved himself, first as a regular caller on a Late Show.  He was the Editor of his college newspaper and the Head of Music on a hospital radio station while learning the ropes. 

From 1994 to 2004 Tim worked for the GWR Group, beginning as a trainee journalist in the Leicester Sound newsroom, then as a travel reporter for Metro Networks and Trafficlink in Birmingham, providing for BBC and commercial stations and then as a presenter on numerous GWR stations.  Tim’s first show was the Hot 30 Countdown on Leicester Sound in February 1999.  Over the years he´s produced sport, music, love and breakfast shows and won a national award in 1999 for creative production.  

Tim hosted and produced shows for Cambridge’s Q103, Coventry’s Mercia FM, Leicester Sound, Peterborough’s Hereward FM, Worcester’s Wyvern FM and Classic Gold 1332 before moving to Spain in 2004 and becoming Network Programme Controller at Spectrum FM.  Tim re-launched the Spectrum network with a new format and music mix in October 2004 and went on to produce shows for Mark Goodier, Ed Stewart, Tommy Vance, DLT and Graham Torrington. Under Tim’s direction the Spectrum Network reached number one in the market in all its broadcast areas in 2008. 

Tim went on to launch his own production company a year later, making music shows for stations in Cyprus, Malta and Spain before re-joining the Spectrum Network as Programme Director and Breakfast Host in 2010.   In 2014 Tim took on a Masters Degree in journalism and has since worked with UKRD at Wessex FM on its Drive show and the Wireless Group as a Content Controller. 

Tim’s skills include media law, video and documentary production.  He’s interviewed Ali Campbell, Nile Rodgers, George Benson, Paul Young and Peter Andre over the years!  Tim is passionate about Spain, its culture and lifestyle and loves being able to play chilled songs on the radio every day. You can hear Tim every weeknight Monday to Friday on the Spectrum Love Show from 10 and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
