Olivia’s La Cala are proud to be supporting Plastic Free Seas Worldwide with dinner and an evening of entertainment!
Join us Thursday the 22nd of November, from 7:30 until late, for a delicious three course set menu, live entertainment from the Masquerade Duo, followed by an auction. We will hear from Plastic Free Seas Worldwide, highlighting their efforts so far in ridding our beautiful Costa del Sol of plastics and debris. Olivia’s La Cala owner, Elliot Wright, will also share why he became an ambassador for the cause. 
Plastic Free Seas Worldwide had its first beach clean at Torrenueva on the Costa del Sol. Fifteen volunteers attended and 120 KG of plastic was collected. Founder Craig Webb introduced a monthly beach clean program and after a few months Plastic Free Seas Worldwide had over 50 volunteers at every beach clean with their biggest to date having 117 volunteers, removing over half a tonne of plastic from Cabopino Port. In October 2018, Plastic Free Seas recorded 7500 pounds of plastic had been removed due to their beach cleans so far.
