The National Police have arrested a man and a woman who are presumably responsible for assaulting the occupants of a house they robbed in Marbella in late March, tying their hands, gagging them, and threatening them with a pistol.
According to the police, they gained entry to the house in the early hours of March 20th. One of the assailants was armed with a pistol with which he threatened the couple who lived there, tying their hands and gagging them. They made off with 2,300 euros in cash, jewellery and a mobile, having forced the couple to open their safe. The woman was known to the couple.
